Someone to run your employer brand content, alongside you.
I work with employer brand and TA leaders a few days a month, turning your strategy into a content plan, then finding the people worth hearing from, running the conversations and shoots, and turning what they say into content that helps the right people find you and stay.
Your people are the story, but nobody has the time to tell it.
Most employer brand and TA teams already know where the good stuff is. It's in the engineer who explains her work brilliantly, the support worker with a story that stops you in your tracks, the manager everyone wants to work for.
The trouble is getting to it. Content ends up squeezed between hiring campaigns, events and the day job, and bringing in an agency for every piece means briefing, pitching and waiting. So the series you planned in January becomes a handful of one-off posts by June.
That's the gap I fill. You get someone senior who owns the content side, from the plan right through to the finished pieces, without a full-time hire.
What I do for you.
In short, I take your employer brand content off your plate, from the plan to the finished pieces. It works in four parts.
Turn your strategy into a content plan
Whether you have an EVP, a campaign or nothing written down yet, I work out who you need to reach, what makes you different and which of your people can show it. That becomes a plan built around series, not one-offs.
Find the right people
I reach out to managers and employees, explain what's involved and put them at ease long before a camera or mic comes out.
Run the conversations and shoots
I organise and lead the interviews, recordings and shoots. No scripts, just good preparation and the right questions.
Turn it into content that works
What your people say becomes articles, clips, podcasts and films that help the right people find you, and help the people you already have to stay.
Also included as part of the support
- Content ready to publish. I think about where each piece will go before we make it, then hand it over ready to post. Your team stays in charge of publishing it.
- A production crew for bigger pieces. When something needs more than me, like a documentary or a filmed series, I bring in production partners with documentary, broadcast and employer brand experience.
- Coaching for your team. I show the people around you how it's done as we go, so over time your team can do more of it themselves.

How it tends to build.
The best fractional relationships grow over time, as I get to know your people and what works for your audience. A typical path might look something like this.
A strategy and a plan
We start by turning your EVP, campaign or positioning into a content plan built around series.
Conversations for articles
I interview a few people and turn those conversations into written pieces, quotes and social posts.
Remote recordings
Next come video or audio conversations recorded remotely, cut into short clips and longer pieces.
A crewed conversational series
Once the format is proven, I bring a small crew in for a series your audience can follow.
A mini documentary or podcast series
Bigger pieces built on everything we've learned, from a workplace documentary to a limited podcast series.
Ways to get started.
You don't have to commit to months of work up front. Plenty of fractional relationships start with one of these.
A project
Pick up one piece of work, like a workplace documentary, and see how we work together.
Workplace documentaries →The Sprint
One studio session with four of your people, turned into a content package in two weeks.
Employer Content Sprint →The Workshop
Half a day planning your content together, then a written plan to work from.
Employer Content Workshop →Straight in
Already know you need someone running the content? Let's talk about time each month.
Let's talk →Is this right for you?
Probably a good fit if
- You lead employer brand or TA as a team of one or a small team, without the bandwidth to do it all
- You want ongoing content from your people, not one hero video a year
- You need someone who can pick it up and run with it without hand-holding
- You'd rather build something over time than buy a campaign
Probably not if
- You want a heavily scripted sales video - I'm probably not the right fit
- You just need someone to post content on your social media channels day to day
- You're after a one-off creative concept to pitch internally
Who you'd be working with.
I'm Chris Le'cand-Harwood. I've built my career across employer branding, education and consumer marketing, making content in video, audio, writing and design, and I've worked with in-house employer brand and TA teams both from inside agencies and through my own business, Content Marketing Pod. I host the Employer Content Marketing Podcast and wrote The Lean Employer Content Guide.
What people tend to notice is how quickly interviewees relax. I come at it like a curious interviewer who loves people's stories, which gets them sharing their real opinions, experiences and advice rather than reciting the brand.
Let's talk.
Tell me a bit about your team and what you're trying to do. We'll have an honest conversation about whether fractional support makes sense, what it could look like and where we'd start.
